Vanita is a Pure Crabbet 'A' class Champion mare, who was still being awarded 'A' class Championships at the age of 16 years!!. She is a gran daughter of Greylight i.i.u. and is out of the Baz mare Victorine. Vanita is the dam of Joda Bahretta, one of Australia's most successful show mares who was twice Australian Top Ten Mare, and also the 1991 Australian Reserve Champion mare. Bahretta also was named Eastcoast Champion, and Classic Champion Mare. Surely one of Australia's most successful show and breeding mares.

Champion and multi 'A' Class champion. She is by
Greylight i.i.u., truly a horse from another era, he
shared the showring with some of the greats. and was able
to accumulate an impressive record. being Supreme
Exhibit at Sydney Royal in 1963, and being awarded the
coveted Rami Sash at Melbourne Royal in 1961.
Greylight i.i.u. is also the sire of the 1985 Australian
Champion, Rasham. Starlights dam, Starflower
is by Sindh (imp U.K. and out of Nejmet es Subh. F.
Starlight is a full sister to the 1988 Australian Reserve
